The same DNA, on your own server
uniFLOW is the original, on-premise edition of NT-ware’s print management platform, installed on a local server for organisations that want maximum in-house control of print security, workflows and cost data. It is actively developed on a long-term support model, with uniFLOW 2026 LTS shipping in April 2026, so an on-premise choice is not a legacy choice.
What it does day to day
User authentication and secure release at the device, accurate usage tracking across print, scan and copy, rules that route big jobs to the most efficient device, and automatic deletion of jobs nobody collects. It supports mixed fleets, so one platform covers the whole estate.
On-premise or cloud? We run both
uniFLOW on-premise suits regulated environments and organisations that want everything in-house; uniFLOW Online removes the server overhead entirely. Because we are accredited on both editions, our advice on which fits you is based on your compliance needs and fleet, not on what we happen to sell.

Should we choose uniFLOW on-premise or uniFLOW Online?
On-premise suits organisations with strict data-locality or compliance requirements and the appetite to host a server; Online gives you the same secure-release and accounting capability with no server to maintain. We run both across our client base and will recommend whichever genuinely fits, with a clear upgrade path if you change later.
Is uniFLOW overkill for a smaller office?
No. Secure release, accurate reporting and waste reduction deliver value quickly even on small fleets, and the platform scales down sensibly. If your fleet is very small, we will say so and configure something lighter.
Does it work across mixed printer brands?
Yes. uniFLOW integrates most deeply with Canon hardware but supports multi-vendor fleets, so you do not need to replace every device to get one consistent security and reporting layer.
