About Canon
Canon was founded in Tokyo in 1937 and has grown into one of the world’s leading imaging and technology groups, spanning office print, production print, cameras and medical equipment. The engineering depth is measurable: Canon has ranked in the top ten for US patents granted for 41 consecutive years. Its UK and EMEA headquarters are at Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
What Platinum actually takes
Canon’s partner programme has four tiers: Registered, Silver, Gold and Platinum. The top tier is not bought, it is earned: it requires sustained year-on-year growth, minimum revenue thresholds, a three-year joint business plan with Canon, and a minimum number of trained, accredited staff across sales and service. Only a small, select group of UK partners hold it.
What it wins for our clients
Platinum status gives our clients access to Canon’s full office and production range, priority support backed by the strongest service commitments, and early sight of Canon’s technology roadmap. Combined with our own engineers, workshop and spares operation, it is why print environments we manage stay running. Canon Europe also holds the BLI 2023-2025 Most Energy Efficient Laser A4 Brand Award from Keypoint Intelligence, which matters if sustainability is on your agenda.
The services this powers
Canon Platinum Partner 2026, your questions answered
What does Canon Platinum Partner mean?
Platinum is the highest of the four tiers in Canon’s partner programme. It reflects sustained performance, a formal joint business plan with Canon, and a minimum number of trained and accredited staff, reviewed continuously. It is held by a small, select group of UK partners.
Does Platinum status change the service we receive?
Yes, in practical ways: access to Canon’s full device range including production print, stronger service-level backing, and engineers trained directly by Canon. You buy through us, but you get Canon’s highest partner tier standing behind the kit.
Are your engineers actually Canon-trained?
Yes. Our field engineers are Canon-accredited and employed by us, not subcontracted, and they are backed by our own workshop and spares operation. Accredited staffing is one of the requirements of holding Platinum in the first place.
