The platform most businesses already run on

Microsoft 365 is the world’s most widely used business productivity platform, passing 450 million paid commercial seats in early 2026. It combines the Office applications your team knows with Exchange email, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, and it is now the delivery vehicle for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft’s workplace AI assistant.

More than apps: a security platform

What many businesses miss is that Microsoft 365 Business Premium includes a serious security stack: Entra ID for identity and multi-factor authentication, Defender for endpoint and email threat protection, and Intune for device management. Most SMEs already pay for these tools without switching them on. Configuring them properly is a large part of what we do.

How we deliver it

We plan and run migrations, apply hardened security baselines, right-size licensing at every review, and add the independent backup Microsoft does not provide. UK data residency is available in Microsoft’s UK South and UK West regions, which matters to our legal and professional services clients.

FAQs

Microsoft 365, your questions answered

Is Microsoft 365 secure enough for business?

The platform itself is highly secure and carries a 99.9% financially backed uptime SLA. Most real-world problems come from default settings: no multi-factor authentication, open sharing, unmonitored sign-ins. We apply hardened baselines to every tenant we manage, so the security you are already paying for is actually working.

Which Microsoft 365 licence should our business be on?

For most SMEs up to 300 seats, Microsoft 365 Business Premium is the sweet spot, because it bundles the Office apps with Entra ID, Defender and Intune, the identity, threat protection and device management tools we build your security on. We review licensing at onboarding and regularly after, and it is common to find savings.

Do we still need backup if we use Microsoft 365?

Yes. Microsoft guarantees the service stays up, not that your data can always be recovered. Retention windows are limited, and deleted or ransomware-encrypted content ages out. We add independent backup of email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams as standard.

Can our data stay in the UK?

Yes. Microsoft operates UK datacentre regions (UK South and UK West), and we can provision environments with UK data residency where compliance requires it.
